Tribeca Private partners with a small number of UHNW clients, allowing them to invest like a family office but without the burden of establishing and managing one.

Mr Liu is the CIO of a small family office with assets of $750m and an expertise in property investments. Consequently, the family office has a large holding in property, and they were looking to access other asset classes.

Tribeca Private and Tribeca Investment Partners sourced successful emerging managers investing in various asset classes where the family office seeded the manager in return for a stake in the management company. Tribeca Private showed deal flow with an emphasis on S.E. Asia as a result of its strong presence in Singapore.

Private Company Founder.

Mr Reddy is the founder of a tech firm with annual revenue of $10m. He was looking for corporate advice and expansion capital ($11m) and a secondary sell down ($5m). Tribeca’s Corporate Advisory team advised on the transaction and Tribeca Private raised the funds from pre-IPO managers and UHNW clients.

Mr Reddy deposited the sell-down cash with Tribeca Private and started an investment relationship. His firm will look to IPO in 18 months for a $200m+ valuation and Mr Reddy will use Tribeca Private’s philanthropic and asset allocation advisory services.

Large Single Stock Holding.

Ms Kowitz is the CEO and Founder of a listed public company with a significant shareholding. She is selling down her holding over 5 years and Tribeca Private will manage her reserve of cash in much less volatile/risky investments.

This will be done using Tribeca Private’s expertise in fixed income by building a portfolio which will yield 5-6% through a combination of hybrid securities, private and corporate debt.

Mr Horan is the CEO of a public company and is extremely time poor so has delegated the management of his investments to Tribeca Private to invest in a globally diversified portfolio across asset classes.
